In you're interested in adult classes, we'll be back in the fall with a whole new lineup. Below you'll find information on our basic series, designed to help you grow into the successful gardener you want to be.
Basic Gardening Series
Interested in gaining experience gardening in our Southeastern climate? These classes are perfect for you. Series includes four, 1.5 hour classes. The cost is $15 per class, or $50 for the series.
Class 1 – Soil/Composting
Learn how to test your soil and how to create the right medium for successful gardens. Basics of making and caring for a compost pile will also be covered.
Class 2 – Perennials
Learn about the large variety of perennials that thrive in our coastal environment. Planting, propagation, and care will be covered.
Class 3 – Rx for Gardens
Learn how to control weeds, irrigation, fungi, deer, and insects and maintain a healthy, beautiful garden.
Class 4 – Pruning 101
Learn the proper techniques for pruning evergreens, deciduous trees, and conifers.
Curb Appeal will offer a day session as well as an evening session for the Basic Gardening Series. The Basic Gardening Series will be offered again starting in the Fall. Check back for dates.
Specialty Gardening Classes
Fall lineup will include an herb series, holiday centerpiece making, live wreath making, orchid workshop and topiary making. Check back for dates and times.
