Five years ago Kathy Dzubak, KD for short, and her golden retriever, Lily, started Curb Appeal in her garage, planting pots, urns and window boxes for friends and businesses. They soon realized Curb Appeal needed more, well, curb appeal, and opened a storefront location. Like KD’s plants, Curb Appeal grew, bloomed, and soon needed to be repotted. KD and Lily found the perfect building nestled under some of the most beautiful live oaks Southport has to offer, and that was that. Curb Appeal moved to 620 North Howe Street, into a larger retail space with a yard for Lily to lie in.
The Curb Appeal family has since expanded by two "four legged friends" -- Ivy and Woody, the cutest puppies between here and Mars, and two "two legged friends" --Jo Betts and Harriet, two of the friendliest "part timers" in town.
Come by and visit the entire Curb Appeal family on your next trip to Southport.
